'The Legendary Saloon'

Coming to you straight from the Rocky Mountains!

Artist Auður Ómarsdóttir has been creating new work during a residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. 'The Legendary Saloon' is a title for an on-going video performance project that started in Banff. Two pieces, 'Cry me a river' and 'Goodbye', will be premiered on Cosmos Carl on May 11th. They are experimental actions happening in nature that deal with the attempt to reach catharsis. The title, 'The Legendary Saloon', is inspired by a bar in Banff where guests can ride a mechanical bull and sing karaoke. It works as an imaginary space for the works, where the good times have no end.
